Warning: this will be a very thorough review rant. I guess they figure that being the only casino in Columbus they can do what they want.If this review helps just 1 person, I will be forever grateful. It’s apparently clear their customer service and beverage service departments are pretty bad and from talking to staff they say people complain all the time. Obviously this place doesn't hold a candle to anything you'll find in Vegas, but it does get the job done if you want to gamble. Overall it seemed like an overwhelming sea of slots with very few table games. There are lots of slot machines and plenty of video poker but they’re super tight and you’re going to be disappointed. You’ll understand my thought on this when you walk past the high-limits room and notice not a soul is in there. The table games with $15 minimum bets are ridiculous. I don’t expect to see people in tuxedos and formal dresses but just look decent. But when you put this place in the ghetto guess what clientele you’re going to attract? They need enforce their so-called dress code. Don’t be shocked to see lots of overweight people in sweatpants. But seeing the people that come here I can almost see why they feel that way. The people who work here hate their jobs and don’t mind telling you so. You’re going to spend more time running up to the bar and waiting on a drink than playing any games here! And to top it off you can’t order more than 2 drinks at a time. And boy do you ever pay for them! Drink prices are extremely steep and there’s not much alcohol in them. It's nearly impossible! Drink girls rarely walk around and unlike Vegas you have to pay for drinks.

And don’t even think about getting a drink while you are gambling. Second don’t expect to get a decent drink here. I would seriously worry about walking out of this place at night with a decent amount of money in hand. Downtown would have made it much better and attracted a much better crowd. And I do mean ghetto! Why they would put it on the west side is anyone's guess. And if I was there just to look a nice architecture and drink soda then it would have been great! The Casino itself is really nice with lots of TVs, live music and free soda. Wow was I wrong! For die hard gamblers it certainly serves its purpose but there are many issues with this place.

When Hollywood Casino opened in Columbus I was excited and figured it would be a great place for that Vegas feel and excitement.
